Ende Gelände

Ende Gelände

'To here and no further' said a thousand of protesters around the collective 'Ende Gelände', when they entered a coalpit in Lausitz, Germany. Their collective goal was to occupy the biggest coal digging area in europe and spread their message: 'Nobody needs to burn coal for energy anymore. We have better sources and better technique. Brown coal, on the other side, is dirty and terribly inefficient.
We need renewable energy and sustainable jobs. If we want to sustain a livable planet, we need to 'Keep fossil fuels in the Ground'!
